My First Rosebud
I bought a rosebush at Big Lots for $3.50 and planted it on Valentine’s Day. Noticed this morning it has a bud on it. So Excited!!

Earth Day Experiment!
It’s Earth Day today and I am doing an experiment. I have 3 packages of bulbs I bought about a year back at our local Dollar Tree so they are pretty old but I’m going to plant them anyway and see what happens.
I will plant them in different pots and label each pot so I know what is where.
I have 4 Acidanthera – Murielae bulbs, 5 Brodiaea – Queen Fabiola bulbs and 6 Sparaxis – Mixed bulbs.
So here’s me crossing my fingers and hoping for the best! I will post my progress (or lack of) here!
Obsessions!
I very easily get obsessed with things and my latest obsession (besides this blog it seems) is gardening. We have planted a tiny vegetable/fruit garden in our backyard and it’s doing swell. In addition to that we have a tomato plant and a corn plant that are thriving. The tomatoes are turning yellow and will be reddening soon I’m sure. We are very excited! Yay!! I’m posting a series of pictures to show the progress.
